16 creators will be playing at the 2024 Creator Classic. When the PGA Tour announced the field for the event, golf influencer Barstool Trent lamented that the tournament might be too predictable. He posted on X and said:
“*Holding a bushel of sour grapes* The Creator Classic being a bunch of people who are gonna make pars and birdies and maybe bogeys isn’t MY internet”
In reply to the tweet, Paige Spiranac joked that she will add excitement to the tournament by adding double bogeys into the mix. She said:
“Don’t worry I’ll hold it down for you boys and make some doubles. I’m always good for a nasty snap hook off the first”
