SZA has shared a motivational text message from her mother with fans on Twitter. Check out the post below.
The 27-year-old – who released her debut album ‘Ctrl’ in June last year – is due to release an extended version of the LP in the near-future. She recently told a fan that she has “6 bonus tracks so far”.
As she works on new material, the ‘Supermodel’ artist has shared some of her mother’s words of wisdom – which advise her on managing priorities and dealing with feelings of stress
Hoping to reach out to fans facing similar issues, SZA captioned the post: “Some fire words from mommy I wanted [to] share for whoever needs em”.
“Remember, you can even eat an elephant one bite at a time,” the message begins. “To help feeling stressed out and overwhelmed, jot down all the stuff that’s making you crazy, then write beside it what must be done NOW, what can be done LATER and what would be nice to do if you could but is OPTIONAL.”
Mommy SZA goes on to warn against procrastinating and says to focus on herself.
In other SZA news, it’s been announced recently that she’ll join Kendrick Lamar on his tour of North America in May.
Last month, the New Jersey artist revealed that she was “mad as hell” after failing to win a single award at this year’s Grammys.
