Nobody is safe when it comes to social media. The harsh shadows of scrutiny are the norm for anyone in the public eye. And Paige Spiranac is no exception to this rule. However, the Golf Beauty has recently taken matters into her own hands.
Interestingly enough, the once-professional golfer has had a mountain of queries regarding possible injuries unleashed on her head in the past few days. She has finally broken her silence on the matter. Like always, the golf world is all ears. So is Ms. Spiranac actually injured?
Is Paige Spiranac injured?
The short answer is no. But why has this question arisen then? While interacting with her fans on her Instagram story, Paige Spiranac seemed to have a slur to one of the fans, who quickly inquired about the reason for the same, whether it was medical or because of new dental work.
The 30-year-old, however, denied all claims of having any injuries. In fact, she also used the opportunity to shed light on the cons of being in the public eye, how the “smallest of things” about a person get noticed and picked upon, and how it sometimes even makes the confident sensation feel “very insecure.”
Her exact words were, “The weirdest thing about being on social media is how people critique the smallest things about you… every day it’s like she looks thinner or fatter or her face looks different…and the pictures are taken like a day apart.. all this speculation about every little part of my body, which can make you very insecure sometimes.”
Undoubtedly, it is hard when the littlest of things about your appearance become a matter of concern. And Spiranac rightly used her platform to spread awareness of the matter.
As a matter of fact, she also mentioned her intentions with golf. But do these insecurities of being in the spotlight also channel into her self-image as a golfer and a competitor?
With this positive attitude going ahead on the greens, the social media sensation also took the opportunity to highlight what she does not like in an opponent. Her aversions? Lack of speed, complaining attitude, and being easily angered. Thankfully for her fans, now they know what not to do.
