Golf’s online sex symbol Paige Spiranac has ruled out creating an OnlyFans account page – despite big money offers for racy content. But Paige promises she will always lean into “the sexy” side of her personality on her social channels.
As golf’s most followed professional on Instagram, Paige feels that her modeling and content creation must remain wholesome enough for her family to enjoy.
Paige, who is one of the biggest names in golf social media, has overcome upset at dealing with attacks from sexist trolls. She found that not allowing the “five percent’ of haters to impact her efforts worked, while also treating them as a joke aided her to overcome her initial upset.
The 31-year-old Colorado native feels honored that many female golfers are following her pioneering path of promoting golf in a different way.
Paige opened up on her decision to steer away from an OnlyFans site, despite many major offers of large sums of cash.
“Everyone asks me constantly if I’m going to get one, and I created my own subscription site and had a little fun with it, but it’s more focused on my golf instruction, because I feel like that is where I shine. And golf is such a conservative industry that I knew if I ever took that route that my career would be over.
“And so I was trying to think long-term and what I could do and what I want in five years, 10 years. And I think that going that route, if you want to do it, all power to you. But for me and how I wanted my business to progress, I knew that it just wasn’t the right plan for me to go into.

“And I’m more than happy to lean into the sexy, fun, cheeky side, but I never wanted my content to be something that my family couldn’t see.”
Paige, speaking at a Sports Illustrated golf event, detailed how she had fought back against trolls after initially feeling she had “very thin skin” over negative comments.
“When I first started, I had very thin skin and I didn’t really know how to handle it all,” she said.
“And after all the years of doing this, I love what I do and I get to connect with so many amazing people, and 95% of the comments are great. And you just have to block out the five percent. Even the negative ones aren’t that bad if you just try to see it in a humorous light. And again, I am so lucky to do what I do and connect with so many people, so I try to focus on that and not the negative.”

Paige’s profile and appeal to golf fans has sparked a raft of females following her path. Paige feels honored by the copycats.
“It’s unbelievably flattering that everyone sees the path that I have taken and have been really successful doing so, and they want to do the same thing. When I first started doing this, I was the first one and there was no path. And so I just had to figure it out.
“My ultimate goal with all of this was to make golf more welcoming and to have more women in the game. And so you can see in two ways. One is where it is competitive and you want to be at the top, but I try to not have that mindset and having healthier of, I want more women in the game.
“I love that they’re doing it. And we’ve created so many jobs within the golf industry for women based off of what I’ve done and what I’ve accomplished. And so I see it as a positive.”
She teased that her profile could soon be increasing with the potential of mainstream TV opportunities.
She added of her next project: “I am just trying to figure that out right now. I wrote a children’s book last year – Hattie Goes Golfing – so people can check that out. And I’m always trying to do different things, unique things. And so I love to keep people guessing. So just keep following all my socials and you’ll find out, are you going.”
Paige has never looked back since walking away from the pro circuit.
“After I decided I didn’t want to play professionally anymore, I switched over to doing media work and seven years later, still doing it, still loving it, and I never thought that posting on social media would ever lead me to this position and that people would find swing videos interesting. But the fact that I’ve been able to grow a business and also to grow the game of golf has been something that has been so important to me and really great to see and quite shocking actually.”
