The unexpected clash emerged from a since-deleted post by Baio, responding to a video featuring a woman at a driving range wearing tight clothing.
Baio quickly apologized to Spiranac
The post, later revealed to be a misunderstanding, led to Spiranac reposting it with a caption that read, “Add Scott Baio to the list of people I never thought I would have beef with. What a world.”
Baio, upon noticing the mention, swiftly acknowledged his mistake, offering a public apology to Spiranac.
In his response, Baio explained that he had defended his minor daughter, who is a junior golfer, based on misinformation about the woman in the video.
Expressing regret for the confusion, Baio wrote, “I apologize as I don’t know you or the other woman from the video. I have no problem admitting when I am wrong.”
